As of the end of August 2010 -- Capaciteria had:
- 19,973 individual users logging in to use it as a resource
- 2,694 individual links
- 11,096 member/subscribers (allowed to rank and add links)
Check out the new Fiscal Sponsorship resources in the Organizational Development & Management directory. We've also added a couple of hundred new resources (links, articles and books) many in the Performance, Metrics & Evaluation Category (under Organizational Development & Management), Community Stakeholder Management (under Constituency, Volunteer & Member Management) and Marketing Research under (Advertising, Promotion, Marketing & Earned Income). There is more to come in the next month or two with a significant number of new resources added in order to make Capaciteria that much more useful...
Be sure your nonprofit colleagues know about his resource. You, and they, are encourage to add useful resources for your non-profit peers and to rate resources you find useful. Nonprofit capacity support is a critical issue, and like all mission-based issues nonprofits deal with, resolving the problem has two major components. One involves financial and other resourcing. The other involves useful *information* to help nonprofits make better decisions just as they assist their own constituencies as part of their mission work. Both solutions, resourcing and information, are equally important -- Capaciteria is designed to solve the information aspect of the Nonprofit capacity support issue.
Capaciteria is still used primarily as a resource index, which is fine because it was designed to evolve based on user need. However if you have news to share with your nonprofit colleagues please send it to info@capaciteria.com and we will be happy to post it.
